Will the water in the IcePod freeze in winter?Updated 4 hours ago
If the temperature drops low enough, the water in your IcePod may begin to freeze if it’s not being used regularly. You can leave it outside, but it will need some care and maintenance.
We recommend keeping your IcePod covered when not in use to protect it from frost and debris. If it isn’t used often, gently stir the water and break up any ice that forms to prevent it from freezing solid.
For extra convenience, our Water Circulation Jet keeps the water moving continuously, which helps stop ice from forming. Pairing your pod with our Ultra Insulated IcePod Cover Set or LongPod Insulated Cover Set will also add extra protection and slow the freezing process.
If you use a water chiller or plan to connect one during the colder months, please read our guide: What to do with the chiller during winter.
